National Alpaca Farm Days - Sept. 26&27

Did YOU come out to the farm to celebrate
National Alpaca Farm Days?
SnB did ... as we demonstrated wheel and spindle
spinning at Pacesetter Alpaca Farm.
If you did attend, we're sure you found it a very
relaxing and fun day getting up-close-and-personal
with these pastoral animals who have such
wonderfully soft and pliable fiber.
If not, we hope you'll have the opportunity
to visit and enjoy next year with us!

Pacesetter Alpaca Farm

If you missed SnB on Thursday, September 17,
you also missed a great presentation by
Dennis and Christy Pace of
Pacesetter Alpaca Farm!

Christy Pace talks about her alpacas at SnB.

Alpaca fiber comes in 22 different natural colors!

Stitchers listen intently . . .

and then enjoyed seeing the beautiful knit items
created from alpaca yarn.

Watch for future announcements of guest speakers as part
of SnB's on-going educational presentations.

Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival

The day begins with sheep herding trials . . .
The onto the barns to learn about different breeds,
watch the shearing and judging.
Shopping is always a sensory over-load
of colors and textures.

Time for a lunch and lamb cooking demonstration
and then more shopping!
You'll find the new and...
...the old.
Don't forget to sign up EARLY for next years many fiber workshops and then
join SnB as we return for the fun again and again and again!
