Autumn Mysteries!

Have you met Woolbur yet?

Woolbur is delightfully illustrated by Lee Harper in a wonderfully inspiring book for children (AND adults!) by Leslie Helakoski simply entitled, "Woolbur". Can you tell what he is doing in the above picture? Lee Harper, the Pennsylvania artist, has shared "behind the scenes" info with us regarding Woolbur. The mystery of what skill Wilbur is demonstrating in the above illustration will be revealed to all at our SnB gathering on Thursday, October 30. In the meantime, I highly recommend getting your own copy of the book, read it's inspiring message and then send us your own review!

Don't forget: At our regular Nov. 6th gathering,
we will hear from a mystery speaker, too!

UPCOMING AUTUMN EVENTS:

If you missed our recent SnB field trip to Rainbow Fleece Farm, you won't want to miss visiting the farm in November. Quality and unique holiday gifts will be available, as well as, lovely rovings and yarns for your creativity. At the October open house, in addition to seeing roving and yarns in new fall colors, and how big the dogs have grown since last spring (!), we saw demonstrations in wool-to-fabric felting, drum carding and weaving on an absolutely perfect Wisconsin fall weekend.
