Fun sightings in the U.K.

Fiber and knitting in Yorkshire, England

Spring pops up in the autumn
at the York, England outdoor
market with fun styles like
this tulip hat!

While York is in the midst of "sheep
territory" with an abundance
of "raw" materials, vendors there
as in the U.S. seem to import
the knit items for sale.

Imported alpaca socks selling for just
£10 or approximately $19.00.

An explosion of color from knits for sale.

There is no better place to find true relaxation
and escape from the hectic America lifestyle
that the village of Goathland in Yorkshire
where "free range sheep" prevail.

You never know where you'll find
the sheep in Yorkshire. Here:

Someday....Please join us at one of the SnB gatherings and let's talk! Such adventures aren't prohibitively expensive and once you go, you'll find yourself returning time and time again. What things would you ship? My Brit friends and I find ourselves taking food back and forth! SnBers recently had the opportunity to try "Red Thai Curry" as well as "Turkey and Stuffing" potato chips, Wensleydale cheese with cranberries, and Inn on the Moor chutney ...
