• A local social club has asked for help. They would like instructors to teach about a half dozen people how to knit.

• Any group or business may have a free table at the 6th Annual Make A Blanket Day on Saturday, March 10 to display, demo, provide informational lit, etc. on a first-come, first-served basis.

Project Linus 6th Annual Make-A-Blanket-Day
Saturday, March 10, 2007
Rock Co. Job Center, 1900 Center, Janesville
(Hwy. 51/Kellogg Ave. Intersection - near Ben Franklin)

Come make a blanket for one of the children who need
it's comfort,warmth or security at area facilities.
All ages welcome! No experience required.
Attend part or all of the day. Blankets not completed
may be taken home to finish.

FREE vendor and display space available to related area nonprofits,
businesses, groups, and .....? (Call for more info)

Participants are encouraged to bring their own blanket-making supplies,
tools, portable sewing machines and blankets to complete or they may
use materials and tools that will be available including a limited
variety of sewing machines. Use your existing skills, learn new ones, or teach others!
